Fieldview?
Well
firstly it happens to be the name of my business, and yes my office
does have a view of a field or at least plenty of greenery. I like pleasant
environments in which to work ~ city offices in smokey environments
are not for me.

qualified as an accountant with Shell many, many years ago. Since then
I have worked for large multinationals, did a Management-Buy-Out using
Venture Capital, bought over a dozen companies (and sold as many too)
and run an accountancy practice.
I
have worked in banking, assessing loans and evaluating investments,
prepared more business plans than I care to think about, trained charities
to be better businesses and advised many business people on how to grow
their companies.
I
have worked in manufacturing, service industries and retailing. I have
sold products to most parts of the world and been to most of them too.
I have implemented micro-credit schemes in Africa, pulled private, public
and voluntary sectors together in Russia and worked on developing natural
healing centres in South East Asia.
So
in my modest quarter of a century or so of working, I feel as though
I have been most places, done most things and seen most types of business.
